Geometric mathematics in the slab cistern

This work came about through research in the rural community of Sيtio Barra do Japi in the municipality of Japi-RN. It shows the step-by-step mathematics involved in building a cement slab cistern. However, the aim was to bring together the mathematical concepts involved in carrying out this work. The aim is for the communitys math teacher to be able to integrate his lessons with the daily reality of these people, bringing the school closer to the daily lives of the communitys residents.
