DBT Group Skills Training

DBT group skills training has been discussed and appears to hold promise as an effective intervention for people with moderate cognitive impairment. Subsequently, as part of this project, a group skills training program, based on the existing DBT modules, was developed. A copy of this treatment protocol is provided in Appendix A. The program was reviewed and evaluated by practitioners in the field of neuropsychology and DBT. The following section will provide an overview of the reviewersfeedback, focusing on the content and viability of the treatment program. This section will also discuss the future direction of the program, including suggestions for refining the content, and optimizing the program for future use as an accepted intervention.
