This is a "home-coming" kind of book for those who have been away from home for a long time. And it is a "home-noticing" kind of book for those who have been home all of their lives. And for those for whom a particular place has never much mattered, "Welcome Home." Big Valley is a unique and sacred place to those who live there. But I suspect that most never take much notice as to what makes it so special. But Roy Kanagy did so. He paid attention to the critters around him. Attention to the people. Attention to his workplace. Attention to his wife and children. And most of all, attention to God.
