You & Me

From being shy, to writing a few words and sharing them on social media, to actually publishing a book of thirty-one poems is something I had not imagined even in my wildest dreams. I had been playing with words every now and then, but it was only during the Covid-19 lockdown that I started sharing them with my friends on social media. A few of them inspired me with words of appreciation and kept pushing me to write more.

Some of these poems I wrote during lockdown, and some before that. These words are all from personal experiences, connection and moments. They are about how I have felt in specific moments, my emotions and feelings for places and people in conversation, how at times I feel about myself and the world around me.
