Sam has always been the strong one - shes had to be to survive her chaotic childhood whilst also trying to protect her emotionally unstable mother.

To escape the dysfunctional, unsafe life they led in London, Sam orchestrates the move to Lincoln. An opportunity to start afresh and keep her mother on an even keel. The last thing Sam expects is to fall for Jack, the gorgeous man who isnt put off by her prickly persona.

But Sams newly ordered life is threatened by Nick - Jacks best friend, whose warped behaviour throws her world into turmoil. He will seemingly stop at nothing to get under her skin. When her mother goes missing, Sam must confront a terrifying question: has Nick gone too far?
