This is a collection of papers which address the current state of knowledge about thrombus (clot) lysis in stroke as a mode of treatment, the possible adjunctive role of other approaches to stroke (e.g., neuron protection, 21-aminosteroids or "lazaroids"), and the experimental basis for these clinical approaches.
