The Winter Retreat

Welcome back to Hideaway Lake, a heartfelt womens fiction novel series

Wintertime in Hideaway Lake is changing. With the new mansion on the hill now a winter retreat and becoming known for a honeymoon getaway since Joe and Lauras wedding was splashed all over the media, Hideaway Lake is slowly being brought back to life in the middle of winter.

There is definitely a romance going on, but Julia Russel is not having any of it. Just because she caught the bouquet at her brothers wedding doesnt mean she wants anything to do with love. Her life is perfectly fine as CFO of Russel Enterprise.

Even after her oldest sibling asks her to take over for him while hes off on a month-long honeymoon, Julia is determined to meet with his partners and get back to the city where her life continues without any interruptions.

He trusts her explicitly to run the company in his absence.

Then Julia has an awakening of sorts and does something so unlike her, she shocks even herself. She cant let Joe or any of her family members know she is a complete failure. They say she has a cold heart, but there may be someone who is slowly chipping away at it.

Her struggles are real.

Now, it may take the whole village of Hideaway Lake to help her!
