The Weight Of Heaven

The Weight of Heaven is a formally structured yet emotionally raw collection that interrogates grief as both psychological rupture and theological crisis. In the wake of maternal loss, the speaker moves through dissociation, embodied panic, spiritual accusation, and eventual reintegration. The work employs evolving structure - shifting from controlled rhyme to fragmentation and back - to mirror traumas arc within the body and spirit.

Rather than offering consolation, the collection insists upon endurance. Faith is not resolved; it is refined. Grief is not erased; it is metabolized. The poems position loss as both fracture and formation, revealing how love survives the body that once carried it.
