The Myth of Jade and Bone

Adessa has wandered from the icy reaches of the Far North since she was a child, her quest shifting from the desperate search for a place to belong to a singular, consuming desire for revenge. She carves her path through a shattered world, a blade in the dark, unaware that her every step is entwined with a fate older than the ruins she treads upon.

Yoon, a fugitive from the East, seeks redemption for a lifetime of violence and regret, his every move shadowed by the weight of a soul too stained to ever be clean. With a bounty on his head and blood on his hands, he walks the thin line between survival and sacrifice. Unbeknownst to them, their destinies have been twisted together for a hundred lifetimes, bound by the cruel games of the Mystics - ancient, manipulative deities who sparked the war that shattered their world. Cursed to kill each other time and time again, Adessa and Yoon are trapped in a brutal cycle: one cannot die unless the other succeeds, their final breaths always taken in each others arms, only to awaken once more, reborn into the next bloody act of their eternal tragedy. But the tides are shifting. Tired of the endless, bloody dance, one of the Mystics begins to sow the seeds of rebellion against the fate they forged.

In this life, will Adessa and Yoon finally break the cycle, or will they be swept under by the weight of a hundred failed chances? Their bond is their curse. But it could also be what changes everything.
