Dan Martin was a middle-aged cowpuncher who hadnt owned anything but his saddle his whole life. But he woke up one day inheriting a rock pile ranch and a great aunt to care for. He stepped into a different world when he took a job roping and catching wild burros to help pay the bills. He found in doing so he was confronted by animal rights enthusiasts who would were trying to keep the burros free and damaging the environment. Along the way, he found an attachment to a woman he hadnt counted on. And chasing jackasses had brought him to a place in his life he hadnt counted on.
