The Cards Were Dealt

This is the fifth poetry book by Chris. The Cards Were Dealt (Originally titled The Hand We Are Dealt) is the follow up to 2012s Hello My Name Is. It was supposed to be released in 2013 (Sorry). A sixth book, as yet untitled is in the planning stages & is expected to be released in 2019 or 2020 (Its been written, honest I just have to type it up). The Cards Were Dealt delves into the subjects of love, death, voodoo, millennials, ducks, addiction, suicide, family, drugs, mental health, Brexit, riots, hippies, cross-dressing country music and much more. This book is a book of poetry, verse, song, ideas, thoughts, rhymes, ramblings, and anything else that you want it to be. Live the dream, wear the dream and learn how to fly.
