The Arcturus Code

The body of a man is found shot in a remote Norwegian village. D.I. Dag Paulsen Meldel is sent to investigate. But the body disappears. The man is a mystery. There was no evidence as to who he was. A villager has gone missing and he may hold the key to the mystery. A mystery that involves E14, Norwegian Military Intelligence. The villager is registered as a missing person so Dag continues his investigation. But his work coincides with that of the intelligence operatives.
