Terrestrial Radiative Transfer : Modeling

This book analyses radiative transfer through the atmosphere. Innovative mathematical models and computational techniques are explained to solve the basic problem of how to interpret data about the earths surface captured by satellites or aircraft. Algorithms are given to compensate for the distortion caused by the variable nature of the atmosphere.
