Tell a Tale deals with the experiences everyone faces while growing up. The author has put into words what one feels when in love, when betrayed in love and when one feels lonely. The book also sheds light on social issues such as child labor, child abuse and social taboos such as menstruation. The author depicts the positive aspect of some negative attitudes that we otherwise hold in life. The book is written from the point of view of a girl.
