The link between psychoanalysis as a mode of interpretation and Shakespeares works is well known. But rather than merely putting Shakespeare on the couch, Philip Armstrong focuses on the complex and fascinatingly fruitful mutual relationship between Shakespeares texts and psychoanalytic theory.
