Serenity

A few wild, free thoughts dominate the mind, heart, and soul when emotions are stirred or there is an unease about life and its aspects. From mundane to vital, thoughts and feelings keep meandering like a river, though their flow is unpredictable. I have done my best to capture the effervescent, quickly disappearing ideas that are sometimes personal to me, while universal at times. Reading through the verses, there can be moments of clarity or a maze of anxiety... uneasiness even, but the emotions remain direly human, conveying the pain and optimism.
