Quality: an interdisciplinary dimension

The problem of quality is becoming more and more acute every day. Modern scientists in the field of quality make various attempts to define and clarify this concept. However, we should not forget that quality has not so much an applied character as a fundamental philosophical meaning. For many centuries the category quality has been of interest to specialists of different spheres of science and practice: philosophers, managers and economists, design engineers, social scientists, lawyers and political scientists. It is from the point of view of multidimensionality that the category of quality should be considered, paying special attention to its philosophical origin.
