Afghan war vet Mike Davenport just wants to run his coffee shop in Pittsburgh when hes approached by folks from his forlorn, rust-belt hometown of Pulver Forge to run for mayor. Everyone needs to believe the town can do it. They need to shift from "Its hopeless" to "Yes, we can." He changes the name of the town from "Pulver Forge" to "Prosperity." Almost overnight, townspeople are growing their own food, picking up trash, and throwing a weekly party for themselves.
It feels like a miracle...but there are powerful forces who liked the town the way it was and who are willing to do whatever it takes to destroy Mike and his friends. This is a tale beyond todays stale right-left, red-blue politics. This is what happens when dreaming meets doing.
