""Melancholies of Midnights is a poetry book of thoughts, feelings, and emotions that were never said. Of feelings and emotions that were never adequately expressed. The book is divided into 4 chapters namely Bare Beginnings, Mayday Masks, Forgotten Farewells, and Hard Healings. Each, a stage of the journey so far. The poems in each chapter walk us through the feelings and emotions of each stage. It is essential to note that even though the stages are expressed in chronological order, it isnt always so. In a journey, it is possible and quite alright to go back to certain stages or even skip some. A journey of anything is far from linear and consistent. M.O.M hopes to provide comfort and a sense of belonging to readers in knowing that they arent alone in their struggles, whether theyre at the beginning as they fumble in the darkness or have accepted their fate and resolve to hide their pain as they struggle to endure it or have lost all hope and prepare to say farewell or have found the strength to continue yet find healing a not-so-easy or linear process but still continue on a recovery that will be worth it. It serves to remind, You are not alone. ""
