Jumpstart! Study Skills: Games and Activities for Active Learning

Jumpstart! Study Skills presents a collection of fun games and activities that engage active learning and develop the study skills of children ages 7-12. Embedded in the National Curriculum is the aim of developing the skills of independent enquiry. This book offers activities that support the delivery of this aim by developing the childrens organisational and thinking skills to plan, carry out and evaluate investigations and solve problems by asking questions, making predictions, examining evidence, presenting findings and drawing conclusions. The self-contained games can be easily incorporated into exisitng lesson plans and are an essential part of any KS2 teachers toolkit.
