Jennifer was sent to the attic when Merilee demanded. Now older and heading for college, Jennifer is escaping the attic and her crazy-ass mother. Jennifer will soon discover she cannot escape because Merilee is not the only monstrous monster. In an all-girls school Jennifer finds befriends Kathy Barns and Jennifers world seems to be making sense for the first time, ever. When Kathy vanishes Jennifer finds herself seeking answers, only this time around Jennifer finds herself trapped in Kale University and the monsters are far more conniving than the monster mom she left behind. Is all of it in Jennifers mind? Is Jennifer going insane or is it real. Or... is it something else, entirely?
