عن المنتج
The modern understanding of civic engagement acknowledges the importance of both individual and collective action, recognising that individuals have different skills, talents and interests, and that their contributions to the common good can take many forms.
The Author through a real life narrative shares its activities as a study case for meditation how each person can fulfil civic engagement. The emphasis on personal fulfilment doesnt negate the importance of duty and responsibility. Rather, it enriches the understanding of civic engagement by highlighting its intrinsic value.
Engaging in civic activities can lead to personal growth, increased social capital, a greater sense of belonging and the development of valuable skills and experience. These benefits, in turn, can contribute to a more fulfilling and meaningful life. Furthermore, understanding the intrinsic rewards of participation can serve as a powerful incentive for increased civic engagement.
