The book covers the basic issues of economic criminal procedure. The static part describes the stages of the criminal procedure and describes in detail the basic principles of criminal procedure, the subjects of criminal proceedings (the authorities and the participants), the specific evidence involved in economic criminal proceedings and the main rules of coercive measures. The special section focuses ont he investigation (including preparatory proceedings, cleaning up and examining), the indictment, the ordinary court proceedings (first, second and third instance) and also the extraordinary and separate proceedings. It provides a comprehensive overview of the complex system of economic criminal procedure, presenting the legal framework and the procedural rules applied in practice. In doing so, it reviews the provisions of Act XC of 2017 on Criminal Procedure (CPC) and Act C of 2012 on the Criminal Code (CC), also analyses in detail the case law on certain criminal procedural issues.
