The traditional school of the 1980s left deep traces by prioritizing homogeneity over diversity, excluding those who did not meet the standards in Spanish and mathematics. This book reflects on the limitations of an educational system anchored in the past that perpetuates exclusion and marginalization. It questions whether the New Mexican School embraces inclusion from a decolonial perspective and explores the need for humanistic and critical teacher training.
