The Matriarchs of the One God have risen to power, murdering the Wyt Wizards and driving the other practitioners of the Art out of the heart of Albion. Meanwhile, the long awaited Twins of Two Worlds have been discovered and abducted: one by the forces of light, the other by the minions of darkness. They grow up in separate worlds, walking down different paths, until a common goal reunites them.
