The promise of Black Hills gold is drawing prospectors and greedy men to Sidney, Nebraska. Plans are made to span the Platte River, cutting days off travel time to the Dakota Territory. Jesse Jones and Swedes Mercantile are chosen to supply the materials needed to build the Camp Clarke Bridge.
