In 2018, Leanne and Bear sold their house, quit their jobs, and headed north to British Columbias Cariboo region to pursue a life running a rustic resort. They traded in big salaries and stability for an adventure-filled life full of freedom and hard work. They say the first five years in business are the toughest, and that couldnt be more true. A pandemic, wildfires, floods, unexpected renovations, and countless challenges tested their resolve.
