Electrocommunication in Teleost Fishes : Behavior and Experiments

This volume presents the teleost fish taxa that are electroreceptive and electrogenic, and their phylogenetic relationships. The electric system consists of a motor and a sensory part integrated to a functional unit. Species- and taxon-specific adaptations of electric organ discharges are discussed.
