The silk is all we have. Without it, we are nothing.

Ori Tey was engineered for one purpose: as a super soldier in a genocidal galactic war. But when her latest mission draws her to the frozen planet of Maal, she finds herself facing a new kind of enemy-one that threatens not only her life but her understanding of who she truly is.

Amiriss and Jelen, burdened with the responsibility of uniting a fractured world, discover that the greatest threats arent always external. And when the planet erupts into civil war, Ori finds herself at the heart of this chaotic conflict, unraveling a conspiracy that stretches far beyond Maal.

Back on Central, Tel Rossim continues his interference in Maal politics in the hope it will give him the legendary Maali silk production and the secret of its manufacture. And hes not about to let Jak Reinnor, Xi Liason get in the way.

As alliances shift and secrets unravel, no one could have predicted the explosive turn of events.
