Catherine Tilney, neé Morland, now the respectable wife of Henry Tilney, has pledged away her youthful quizzes and overactive imagination in favour of a more refined, genteel life style. Life as a reverends wife is, after all, one of dignity and poise. But the unpredictable General Tilney seems set to ruin their pleasant newlywed bliss.
