Boredom in Cameroonian public organizations

Work offers man the opportunity to perfect his construction, since he is considered an unfinished being. In this sense, man has qualities that can only be revealed through work. Such creative activity should fight boredom rather than feed it. It would even be an antidote. However, national and international studies reveal that boredom is a reality that many workers experience in silence. Its a source of great suffering and a form of burnout, as the worker empties himself from within.To understand this reality, this book offers a panoramic view of the concept, with definitions, history and psychological theories of boredom. It also proposes a tool for assessing boredom, which can help managers in Cameroon to make a better diagnosis.
