Bloodletting

It hurts to remember its easier to forget. Detangling from the scar tissue matted under our skin Is messy. It bloodies and it maims. We all have shadows hiding from our sight. Demons without a name that refuse the light. Its a journey seldom tread. There is peace in acceptance and healing in learning to love our shadow as much as the light.
