"From the git-go, this story grabs your attention and hangs on to it through to the very end. Callan weaves a mystery from the past into an exciting present-day story, complete with intriguing and feisty characters. Dont miss this great book!" Published Review, S. Sehon
Can an old, long forgotten folk tale affect the lives of people today? In A Ton of Gold, one certainly affected young, brilliant Crystal Moore. Two people are killed, others threatened, a house burned and an office fire-bombed - all because of an old folktale, greed and ignorance.
On top of that, the man who nearly destroyed Crystal emotionally is coming back. This time, he can put an end to her career.
Shell need all the help she can get from a former bull rider, her streetwise housemate, and her feisty 75 year-old grandmother.
And the Gold? Well, it might just be ...
"Great plot, great characters, great dialogue. I would recommend it to anyone." Published Review, P. Paris
