Van De Graaff (Provo, UT) is currently aprofessor of zoology at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. Hereceived his B.S. in Zoology at Weber State College, his M.S. at theUniversity of Utah, and his Ph.D. at Northern Arizona University.He completed a postdoctorate course in neuromyology, and taught anatomyat the University of Minnesota and Brigham Young University. Van DeGraaff is the author or coauthor of several college textbooks, includingHuman Anatomy, Concepts of Human Anatomy and Physiology, and Synopsisof Human Anatomy and Physiology. R. Ward Rhees (Orem, UT) is a professorof zoology at Brigham Young University. He received his B.S. in Pharmacyat the University of Utah and his Ph.D. in Physiology at Colorado StateUniversity. He taught at Weber State College and has been a visitingprofessor in the department of anatomy and the Brain Research Instituteat the UCLA School of Medicine. His research on sexual differentiationof the brain has been published in numerous leading scholarly journalsand presented at national and international conferences.
