Twig Literacy: A Fun Story About Beavers

Ma-Beaver loves her kits with all her heart. She works tirelessly to gather twigs, build strong dams, and keep her family safe. But when the playful young kits let their twigs float away, they quickly learn an essential truth: save your twigs.

With the wisdom of Old Twig Lender Beaver and the kindness of Harriet the Blue Heron, the kits discover the power of saving, sharing, and working together. Meanwhile, Ma-Beaver and Pa-Beaver realize that teaching their kits about twigs isnt just about building dams; its about love, responsibility, and preparing for the future.

"The greatest things we build arent just dams, but family, kindness, and a future filled with love."

Full of adventure, warmth, and beaver wisdom, Twig Literacy brings beavers to life with real emotions and timeless life lessons. Through this heartwarming tale, children will learn about money (twigs), tithing, generosity, and the joy of giving, all in a fun and relatable way.

As always, Libby Hikind blends a colorful multimedia approach, combining real photographs with whimsical, illustrated fantasy animals to create a unique and visually captivating story.
