The Mysterious Death on the Underground Railway

Baroness Emmuska Orczy found fame with her classic 1903 play The Scarlet Pimpernel. However, she was also a prolific and popular writer of short fiction. The Mysterious Death on the Undergound Railway is arguably her most timeless tale. Many crime and detective stories, particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive. We are republishing these classic works in affordable, high quality, modern editions, using the original text and artwork.
