Why name my story The Elephant Buttons? Long ago elephants roamed our land. And when they were shot out, only their pathways were left behind. A tiny bit of that land was awarded to Nors husband for being a soldier. They built a little cottage, it was to be their new life together. Living in that strange place; the bush babys cry, the great Kudus bark and the Leopards breathy roar scared Nor. She called for her Welsh faeries to help her. They turned the farm into a magical place by using the ancient elephant pathway with great respect. Only there was a being who lived there too, "You-Know-Who"! He scared the old farmworker Frans silly. This story is about conquering fear. 24683 words
