The Mordvins are a unique people living in Russia. So far as is known, the Mordvins never worshipped images or natural objects as such. This interesting and well researched book is a brilliant insight to a kingdom of people that is little known in Western Europe. Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive. We are republishing these classic works in affordable, high quality, modern editions, using the original text and artwork.
