STRENGTHENING OF RC SLAB IN FLEXURE BY NEAR SURFACE MOUNTING TECHNIQUE

The evolution of structural engineering addresses aging infrastructure, increasing loads, and harsh environmental conditions. Reinforced concrete (RC) structures, central to modern construction, face durability challenges, necessitating innovative strengthening techniques. This book explores Near Surface Mounting (NSM) using Basalt Fiber Reinforced Polymer (BFRP) bars for flexural strengthening of RC slabs.
