Story of the Sixth Emirate

In a fractured Palestinian future, can hope be negotiated, or is it just another illusion?

Story of the Sixth Emirate unfolds in a speculative future where political exhaustion gives way to an unexpected experiment in governance: the rise of a sixth autonomous Emirate in the Palestinian territories.

Ali Al-Hamed, a seasoned yet disillusioned politician, finds himself navigating shifting alliances, fragile loyalties, and the blurred line between reform and manipulation. Parallel to his journey is that of his sister, Hayat-an officer in the Emirates security apparatus-whose investigations uncover layers of internal corruption and foreign interference.

As past trauma collides with uncertain change, the siblings must decide: is this a genuine path forward, or another elegantly packaged form of control?

Rooted in political realism yet charged with speculative imagination, Story of the Sixth Emirate explores power, memory, and the quiet question of what a just future might or might not actually look like-for Palestine, and for all those caught between identity and survival.
