Shadows of Point Pleasant: A Jamie Blackwood Mystery

Spring has finally come to Bear Mountain, and archaeologist Jamie Blackwood is savoring the peace hes found with Detective Sandra Elkfoot and their quiet life together. But tranquility shatters when amateur historian Eleanor Hartwell arrives at their cabin with a disturbing tale-someone has broken into her Point Pleasant home and stolen her most precious possessions: artifacts from the 1774 Battle of Point Pleasant, pieces that have been in her family for generations.

What begins as a simple burglary quickly spirals into something far more sinister. As old wounds between cultures are torn open and Jamies hard-won peace is threatened, he must confront both his lingering PTSD and the ghosts of Americas violent frontier past. With his loyal dog Milly at his side and Sandras unwavering support, Jamie finds himself in a deadly game where the stakes are nothing less than justice for the living and respect for the dead.
