Salt in the Wound

We dont always notice the wound right away.

Sometimes, the hurt comes in slow, quiet drips-masked as love,

disguised as care, wrapped in promises. Other times, it comes like

a storm: sudden, loud, and shattering. But whether it arrives subtly

or violently, pain finds its way in. And too often, instead of healing,

we let life-or people-rub salt into that open wound.
