Total protection service is a rapid repair or replacement service for electronic devices, protecting your device against any accidental damage not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, like broken screen and liquid damage. We repair or replace your device at a fixed service fee, saving you money and time, inconvenience of not having a working device.


What is the difference between Extended Warranty and Total Protection Service?

Extended warranty is adding one more year to the existing two years manufacturer warranty. Manufacturer warranty covers only factory faults (hardware and software defects).

TPS is a repair or replacement service, protecting your device against any accidental damage not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, like broken screen and liquid damage, where we will repair or replace your device at a fixed service fee.


What are Total Protection service benefits?

- Repairing Smartphone’s accidental out of warranty damages like broken screens or liquid damages at a fixed price (Repair Fees).

- If the damage is beyond economical repair, customer pays (Replacement Fees) and the phone will be replaced.

How do I subscribe to the service?

You can subscribe to this service together with your purchase, whether from Jarir showroom or online on jarir.com, of any electronic device from selected categories. It is mandatory to have the device and the Service subscription in the same invoice, whether you are buying from Jarir showrooms or Jarir.com

What do I do when my device is broken?

Visit after sales service section of your nearest Jarir showroom to submit the device, in case you bought it online and there is no Jarir bookstore showroom in your city you can contact the call center 920000089 and a courier will contact you to collect your device.

We will take it to our service center for rapid Repair or Replacement. Simple, easy, and fast!

 


How quickly will I get my device fixed?

We repair or replace within a fixed turnaround time depending upon the device category. For example, for Smartphones and Tablets it is 5-10 working days. This in addition to 3-7 days of shipping and receiving (transit time), depending on the store location.

The repair service timeline does not include delays from service fee payment or customers not turning off their Google Account/iCloud/Find My iPhone or removing any user/password/personal data.

 


What is Value Protection in Total Protection Service?

Value Protection is an additional benefit in Jarir Total Protection Service Platinum plan only for Smartphones and tablets.

TPS protects your smartphone and tablet against any accidental damages like cracked screen and liquid damage, where we will repair or replace your device and save you money for up to 2 years.

TPS customers who don’t have any accidental damage to their smartphone and tablet, enjoy the added benefit of Value Protection, where your device’s value will be protected at 50% of the initial purchase value, given as a rebate any time you choose to Upgrade to a new smartphone and tablet within 13 months.

 


How does the device upgrade work with Value Protection?

To get 50% back under Value Protection, within 13 months you hand over your old smartphone or tablet with TPS Platinum to Jarir, the device will be inspected on the spot, and once the device passes the physical inspection list you will be given a rebate equal to 50% of the initial purchase value, applied against any new device purchased with TPS Platinum.

 


What is the acceptable condition of my smartphone/tablet when I upgrade it using Value Protection?

It should be in good working condition without any out of warranty repairs or replacements done, with Google Account/iCloud/Find My iPhone turned off and any user/password/personal data removed. See device inspection checklist.

- Does your device power up and function normally?

- Is the display in good condition (normal wear and tear is ok)?

- Are the buttons in good working condition

- Is your device free from obvious signs of liquid contact?

- Is the battery not swollen?

- Have you removed the SIM-card?

- Have you backed up your data?

 


Remarks

- In case a same specification device replacement is not available, customer will be notified to choose a different color or a device with closest comparable specifications will be provided.

- Once the device is replaced once or repaired twice, whichever comes first, customer will no longer be able to avail further repair or replacement and the subscription will end.

- Total protection service can’t be cancelled or refunded.

- This Service is provided by a 3rd party service provider through Jarir bookstore.
