The Price of Passage

In a future where teleportation gates connect the world, freedom of travel is a luxury few can afford.

Some nations allow unrestricted teleportation, while others impose strict prohibitions. To enforce these rules, the government appoints gatekeepers-those who control the flow of travelers, deciding who can pass and who must be turned away. In this high-stakes world, power is for sale, and the wealthy elite buy their way into forbidden places, bypassing laws with secret bribes.

Tim, a newly appointed gatekeeper, is determined to follow the rules and uphold his duty. But his resolve is shattered when he grants passage to a girl headed for a restricted zone. As the consequences of his mistake become clear, Tim is thrust into a race against time to find her and undo the damage. Can he save her-and himself-before the hidden dangers of the forbidden place consume them both?

An electrifying tale of control, corruption, and courage in a world where teleportation is both a blessing and a curse.
