A TALE OF TWO LANDLUBBERS WHO MOVE ONTO A BOAT IN THE GULF OF ALASKA

Because there was nowhere else to live in the spring of 1994, Bill and Jan become liveaboards on a 28 Bayliner boat on a remote island in Southeast Alaska. There, they navigate the hazards and challenges of two people living together in tight quarters, but soon embrace island life. All while Bill, a helicopter mechanic and his crew, work in the beautiful rainforest of the Tongass National Forest.

From meeting a colorful cast of characters to experiencing fishing with a whale, and even riding out a tsunami, join in their adventures and misadventures of being on "Island Time."
