Son of the Thunder People and Tumbleweed Trigger: Two Full Length Western Novels

Award-winning author Gordon D. Shirreffs is known for his epics tales of the Wild West, each one more exhilarating than the last.

In Son of the Thunder People, fifteen-year-old Alan Warden is taken captive by the Chiricahuas, arguably the fiercest of all the Apache divisions. With the help of Never Still, Alan learns the language and the Apache ways, eventually becoming a blood brother and a medicine man-rather than a killer. But when an opportunity for deceit arises, will Alan choose to betray the Apache or honor them instead?

Tumbleweed Trigger follows Matt Turlock, a drifter and neer-do-well, who cant be depended upon to do anything useful-other than look out for his own hide. When Commander Jim Sturtevant asks Turlock to watch his back-and, if necessary, risk his life-the commander winds up dead. Will Turlock do the right thing and avenge his friend, or will his drifter ways pull him right into the ranks of the hired killers?

"Gordon D. Shirreffs was one of the most consistently entertaining hardboiled Western authors." -New York Times bestselling author James Reasoner
