QoS-Aspects of Mobile IPv6 Clients in an IEEE 802.11 Network

Data network services and voice network services are converging; the VoIP protocol enables voice communications over internet infra-structure. At the same time, wireless 802.11 network equipment has become cheap and commonplace. However, it is not always possible to use the ?exibility of VoIP together with the ?exibility of wireless networking. This work evaluates whether the MobileIPv6 network protocol is suitable to facilitate using VoIP in a wireless roaming scenario.
