Nearly Man: A collection of poems

Who, and indeed what is the Nearly Man? Find out in this short collection of thought- provoking, quirky and sometimes humorous poems charting the internal landscape of this complex man. A man of many parts - actor, salesman, Court tipstaff, son, brother, husband and father, this collection reflects the dichotomy between the public and private personae of one of lifes natural performers. This small volume of seventy of Normans previously unpublished poems has been compiled and edited by his family as a surprise gift in celebration of his 70th birthday. Always intriguing, sometimes fanciful and amusing, it records a deeply felt personal perspective on the world that reveals some, but not all, of the answers to the nature of this self-styled Nearly Man.
