Murder by Almanac

A mystery author comes to Moons Landing to talk about murder. Then the librarian turns up dead.

Photographer Birdie Lopez expects a lively evening covering a visiting authors event at the town library. Instead, librarian Justin Graves is found murdered before the night is over, and the sheriff arrests his ex-wife, Felicia Pierce, after the weapon turns up in her bag.

Felicia has only just returned to Moons Landing. Birdie isnt convinced she came home to kill Justin, and the convenient evidence makes her even more suspicious. With mystery author L.B. Cunningham eager to play detective and Butterscotch the coonhound at her side, Birdie starts asking questions the sheriff considers settled.

Her search leads to an old death, a story that never made it into the newspaper, and secrets someone in town has worked hard to keep buried. If Birdie is right, the real killer is still free-and knows exactly how close shes getting.

A charming small town, a loyal coonhound, and a murder with roots in the past. Join Birdie in Murder by Almanac, a Moons Landing cozy mystery.
