Miracle Mommy on the Big Blue Truck

In the debut childrens book from LaTasha Sanders, a little girl and her single mother share a new experience: Miracle Mommys first day on the job as a garbage truck laborer! How will it go - and what surprises are in store?

When six-year-old Bebe wakes up one morning and sees her mom in something different than she normally wears, Bebe is confused. Why is she dressed in weird clothes?

Thats right! Her mom starts her new job as a garbage truck laborer in their city today. But what does that entail? After school, Lil MaMa picks up Bebe and gets the chance to tell her all about her first day - including the smells, sights, and sounds of her new job!

Miracle Mommy on the Big Blue Truck is an engaging and educational childrens book that not only entertains young readers but teaches the values of gender equality. While the vast majority (over 80%) of sanitation workers are men in the United States, its a viable and exciting career path for women, too. Bebes mom Lil MaMa, as well as her mentor Micky, are empowering characters to all young readers. The women smashes the gender bias with each page and illustration, showing how strong women can shine in male-dominated fields.

As the first in an intended series, Miracle Mommy on the Big Blue Truck introduces readers to loveable characters, interesting settings, and gorgeous illustrations while imparting real, meaningful lessons within the enjoyable narrative.

Rooted in true experiences, Miracle Mommy on the Big Blue Truck spins a tale of hard work, determination, and love.
